Monarch Rock is a name that was chosen by teacher and student, mother and
son...Monarch to symbolize freedom and Rock to symbolize stability. Vincent was 5 at the time and he chose the 'Rock'
part! When he likes a subject, he also says; "It Rocks!"

Knowledge is power. Education should be taken seriously and Learning should be FUN! No one knows
their child better than their parent. Homeschooling gives children a sense of empowerment when they're able to choose
the subject matter and the pace! Our school uses a non-traditional method of teaching as well as some Montessori.
We teach year round with breaks as needed. The key is to guide and never push. Allow the student to take the lead!
Learning should be FUN! Knowledge is power. Self-confidence is lifted and the parent/child bond is re-inforced.
LOVE is the main ingredient in our school; with a bit of patience, respect, and humor! We hope to encourage and uplift
others with our ongoing journey in the realm of education.
This web site is a terrific way to access information you need about homeschooling, as well as
serving as an educational resource. All information is free and most links provided are free. Homeschooling needn't
be expensive, if you do your research! I've done lots of research and I'm happy to share info with any loving parent
who is looking for a bit of help and/or encouragement! Children are our future.

Rules: Respect and Safety (all people ~especially yourself!~, animals, and things at all times) Subjects:
Architecture, Math, Reading, Science, English, Art, Music, History, and especially any subject Vincent is interested
in!
Grade Level: No limits! Vincent is currently at 7th Grade level in everything except Math and Science..8th
Grade level Math and Science. He is also currently studying German and MOVIE PRODUCTION!
